The challenge
Normandin wanted to upgrade the kitchen ventilation systems in over 40 restaurants to reduce its energy bills and maintenance costs, without sacrificing its staff’s comfort.

The challenge
Ophelia is a high-end seafood restaurant located in a popular tourist destination in Québec City. The owners were looking to upgrade their kitchen ventilation system to attract chefs and top team talent. In addition, project staff had to deal with the fact that the restaurant was in an old building with a single exhaust fan due to a lack of space.
